3-Night Bordeaux and Cognac Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Cognac Discovery

Arrive in Bordeaux and meet your driver/guide at the airport or Saint Jean station. Head out on a private, full-day Cognac tour, featuring a major house like Remy-Martin, Hennessy, or Martell, followed by a visit to a family-run estate. Learn about the production process and indulge in guided tastings, with time set aside for lunch on your own.

Afterward, check into the François Premier 4* (or similar) on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure, and spend the night in Cognac.

Day 2: Immersive Experience in the Heart of Cognac

Begin your day with breakfast before checking out and heading into the lesser-known side of the Cognac region. Explore small, family-run estates and enjoy exclusive tastings of exceptional Cognacs, some aged over 40 years. Engage with the families behind the craft—often suppliers to the big houses—and learn the intricacies of cognac-making, from grape cultivation to distillation. Break for a leisurely lunch (not included) between visits.

By late afternoon, return to Bordeaux and settle into the Hotel de Seze 4* (or similar), where breakfast is included the following morning. Spend your evening at leisure, whether sampling the local cuisine or relaxing at the hotel, surrounded by the charm of this vibrant city.

Day 3: Saint-Émilion Wine Tour and Departure

Enjoy breakfast, then check out before embarking on a 4-hour private wine tour to Saint-Émilion. Explore a local château’s Merlot wines, tour the UNESCO-listed village with its sweeping vineyard views, and return to your hotel for a free afternoon. Consider visiting the Cité du Vin for wine history, sensory experiences, and a glass of wine high above Bordeaux.

This itinerary seamlessly blends luxury, culture, and exclusive encounters, ensuring an unforgettable journey through southern France’s premier wine and Cognac regions.
