Half Day Champagne Day Tour Highlights
From Gare d’Est in Paris, it’s off to the Champagne region and Reims via high speed rail.
First stop is the heart of Reims and a drive by the famous cathedral where French kings were crowned, and the tradition of drinking Champagne to commemorate a festive occasion was born. Then you will visit the historic Taittinger cellars where you’ll have a tour and champagne tasting with an emphasis on how Champagne is made and matured. You’ll enjoy a full glass of Taittinger and then it’s off to a genuine family vineyard. Walk among the grapes and enjoy several tastes at this prestigious vineyard (varies by time of year). Appreciate the passion of a local producer who creates their own very special Champagne.
Your tour finishes with a drop-off at Reims Tourist Office. You may choose to return to Paris, or linger at a special lunch spot (advice on choices available) and wander the charming town of Reims.
The pre-arranged train back to Paris completes the day.

Due to the small group aspect of all of our tours, our cancellation policy is as follows. More than 7 days before tour date – 100% refundable; from 7 to 3 days before tour date – 50% refundable; less than 3 days – non-refundable. If cancelling please contact us as soon as possible to insure we can credit you properly.

Your train leaves Paris at approximately 7:45 a.m. We will confirm exact rail times upon booking. The tour meets at 9:00 a.m. at the Tourist Office of Reims near the TGV train station. Your return to Paris departs at your request but the time must be pre-chosen.
Occasionally, last minute or high season rail prices will be higher than the prices listed above. We will always contact you before confirming your booking if this is the case. If not booking rail through LinkParis.com, please do not book your train until instructed by us as to times.
The Half Day Champagne Tour is available Tuesday through Friday, March through late December.
