One Day Burgundy by Bike with Wine Tasting
E-bike tour through Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune with 7+ wine tastings. Premium electric bikes make the rolling hills easy for all fitness levels. Cycle dedicated bike paths through vineyards, stop for tastings at Grand Cru sites, and enjoy lunch with local wines.

Burgundy Bike and Wine Day Tour Itinerary
Meet at Saint-Bénigne Church in Dijon for bike fitting and safety briefing. Then ride the dedicated Burgundy bike paths through the Côte de Beaune, with e-bike motors assisting on hills so you can focus on scenery rather than effort.
Your morning wine workshop includes comparative tastings to distinguish between Burgundy appellations. Cycle to Montrachet Grand Cru vineyard, one of the world’s premier white wine sites. Midday lunch features local charcuterie and cheeses paired with regional wines. Throughout the day, taste minimum 7 wines – both whites and Pinot Noirs – while your guide explains Burgundy’s unique system where wines are named by grower parcels rather than châteaux. Tour ends around 4:30 PM
Note: Bad weather converts this to a van tour with same tastings and lunch.
How does the e-bike tour differ from your traditional Burgundy wine tour? The e-bike tour cycles through the actual vineyards on dedicated bike paths, while the traditional tour travels by van. Both include 7+ tastings and expert guides. E-bikes have motors that assist on hills, making it accessible for all fitness levels. If weather is bad, the bike tour converts to a van tour.
What’s the e-biking experience like for beginners? Premium electric bikes do most of the work – the motor assists your pedaling, especially on hills. We provide bike fitting, safety orientation, and helmets. The Burgundy bike paths are well-maintained with minimal traffic. Many participants haven’t biked in years and do fine.
