Full One Night in Provence Itinerary

Day One: Paris to Avignon

In the morning, depart Paris via high-speed TGV (rail not included), enjoying a comfortable ride and watching the French countryside glide by. Arrive in Avignon in the afternoon, where you’ll meet your English-speaking driver-guide for a Culture & Wine tour. Admire the Roman Theater in Orange (entrance included), then head to the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine region for a cellar tour and tasting. In the evening, check in at your centrally located Avignon hotel (3-star or 4-star) and spend your free time wandering the city’s medieval streets, exploring the Pope’s Palace square, and savoring the lively café scene.

Day Two: Provence Highlights

In the morning, after breakfast (included) and check-out, set off for the Van Gogh in Provence tour around 9:00 a.m., exploring the inspiring landscapes of Arles, Les Baux de Provence, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence—places that captivated Vincent Van Gogh.

In the afternoon, return to Avignon TGV station for your train back to Paris, arriving in the capital by late afternoon.
